Sebastian Cross by Kevin Lynn Helmick

Writers are a pretty boring bunch, for the most part, aren't they? Nerdy bookworms sitting on their jacksies all day writing or reading.

But, then there's Sebastian Cross.

Kevin Lynn Helmick's Sebastian Cross is described as a literary adventure, and it is certainly a hard novel to pigeon hole.

The story of Sebastian Cross is narrated by his long time friend and literary agent Murray Henshaw. And what a story it is!

Cross is like an amalgam of Hemingway and Charles Foster Kane. Yes he's a writer- an incredibly successful writer, too- but he's also a mountain climbing, globe trotting, action hero.

Sebastian Cross by Kevin Lynn Helmick is a very clever, well written and  action packed look at fame and the power of the personality. It spans decades and continents and will keep you on your toes from beginning to end.

Thank you so much Paul. It was so much fun to write and it continues to reveal new and interesting things as each reader finds something behind the text that was not always written intentional, but is great to discover.
Ya know... I haven't really gotten beat up on this book at all, which surprises me a bit. there are a lot of things I wished I'd done different, some problems that haunt me, like evrything I write, and people are usually very quick to point it out, citique it precisly, and I expect and welcome that. It helps us grow and improve as writers and suppose it gives me some way to gauge or judge my own work. But with this one, They love it, or I just get stone silence. I think it's eithier so bad, they don't know what to say, or they just know how to respond.
So this book I've written here, kind of remains un-finished in that respect. I don't know where I stand as a writer on this, it's like an elephant at a tea party and nobody wants to be the first to say, "What the fuck is that doing here?"

[Postscript: Unfortunately, I don't agree with this comment... "Writers are a pretty boring bunch, for the most part, aren't they? Nerdy bookworms sitting on their jacksies all day writing or reading..." Wot?
Because I feel [and think] that all writers are a very creative and imaginative bunch Of men and women]
Thanks, for sharing!
